Classics and Religious Studies Professor Awarded Fellowship at Columbia University

Karin Schlapbach

Karin Schlapbach, Associate Professor in the Department of Classics and Religious Studies, has been awarded a fellowship for 2014-2015 at the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies in America at Columbia University. During her fellowship, Dr. Schlapbach is focusing on the the Christian transformation of the ancient concept of scholé/otium ('leisure') and on the modern reception of Augustine.
