Adele Reinhartz

Biographie

Membre de la Faculté des études supérieures et postdoctorales et autorisée à diriger des thèses.

Adele Reinhartz est l’auteure de nombreux articles et livres dont “Why Ask My Name ?” Anonymity and Identity in Biblical Narrative (Oxford, 1998), Befriending the Beloved Disciple: A Jewish Reading of the Gospel of John (Continuum, 2001) et Scripture on the Silver Screen (Westminster John Knox, 2001).  Son livre le plus récent, intitulé Jesus of Hollywood(Oxford University Press 2007), est une étude des films portant sur Jésus.Elle travaille actuellement sur plusieurs projets : un livre sur le grand-prêtre Caïphe vu à travers l’histoire, l’historiographie et la culture, un projet sur la communauté Johannine, avec le soutien du Conseil de recherches en sciences humaines du Canada et une étude des films portant sur le don et la transplantation d’organes, faisant parti du Loeb Consortium on Organ and Tissue Donation, avec le soutien de l’American Academy of Religion. Professeure Reinhartz a été élue à la Société royale du Canada en 2005.
