Natalie Dimitra Montgomery, Part-time Professor in the Department of Communication and Doctoral Candidate in the University’s Population Health programme, was recently awarded the Part-Time Professor of the Year Award for 2015. Her lecture at the award ceremony was titled "Igniting Inquiry, Motivating the Heart and Minds of Students." It was focused on the importance of student engagement through questions, discussion, group and individual learning, and cumulative feedback. Understanding student experiences and responding to their learning styles and unique needs is the cornerstone of Natalie’s teaching practice. Congratulations Natalie!
