Two Faculty of Arts alumni and a student are among nominees at the 2015 Prix Gémeaux

The youth web-series 2 h 14 Un continental en cinq temps, produced and directed by Marie Claude Dicaire (BA Theatre and lettres françaises ’07) and Jean-François Dubé (BA Theatre ’06), is nominated for two prizes at the 2015 Prix Gémeaux. The first nomination is for the category of “best original production for new media: youth”. The second places actress and BA Theatre and Psychology student Laurence Latreille amongst finalists in the “best actress” category.

2 h 14 Un continental en cinq temps is the second web-series produced and directed by Marie Claude and Jean-François nominated at the Prix Gémeaux (Vision polyphonique, best production for new media: fiction - 2013).

What’s more, 2 h 14 Un continental en cinq temps is also part of the official selection of the prestigious Marseille Webfest. For the past five years, the Marseille Webfest selects 25 productions world-wide each year to compete in front of a jury of international experts.

The Prix Gémeaux ceremony will take place on September 20, 2015 and the Marseille Webfest will take place on October 9 and 10, 2015.
