About the Department

Geography, Environment and Geomatics is a multidisciplinary field of research that encompasses the study of earth’s dynamic systems, the social-cultural interactions of communities in urban environments, as well as the rapidly expanding domain of geomatics and spatial analysis. The research and teaching interests of our Department are as diverse as the nature of geography itself, and we offer training in geomorphology, climatology, biogeography, human, social and cultural geography as well as GIS and remote sensing. Learn more about the Department of Geography, Environment and Geomatics.
