Camp Awacamenj mino in the Gatineau Hills is where you will do your first field camp. GEG2918 is a meeting place for environmental studies, human geography and physical geography. Undecided between physical geography, human geography, or environmental studies? This week long course offers the opportunity to experience field research in all three disciplines.
Field Camp I (3 units)
One week of field work at an off-campus location preceding the beginning of the fall semester. Analysis of data continues throughout the fall semester.
Course Component: Theory and Laboratory
Prerequisites: GEG 1301, (GEG 1302 or ENV 1101). Also offered as ENV 2918. Reserved for students registered in the Honours, Joint Honours or Major in Geography. Registration for this course must be done before July 1.
