The General History of Africa and the dissemination of knowledge about Africa

In the context of Black History Month, we invite you to a gathering, followed by a conference-debate around the UNESCO project General History of Africa and the book collection that came out of it. M. Ali Moussa Iye, UNESCO representative, will speak about the role of this project in the dissemination of knowledge about Africa, after which professors from the History Department will open up the question period with the public.

Program:

Noon - 1:00: Light snackand drinks (Broadcast of short videos during this period)

1:00- 1:20: Welcome and introduction

1:25 - 2:30: Conference-debate
