Call For papers: Bilingual Workshop in Theoretical Linguistics and Ottawa Conference for Linguistics Undergraduates
The Department of Linguistics at the University of Ottawa is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a joint meeting of the Bilingual Workshop in Theoretical Linguistics (BWTL) and the Ottawa Conference for Linguistics Undergraduates (OCLU) on November 28th and 29th. BWTL is a workshop for graduate students, professors and other researchers in theoretical linguistics (not necessarily bilingualism) while OCLU is a conference for undergraduate students. This joint event will be a great opportunity for students and other researchers to present their research.
Presentations may be delivered in English or in French. OCLU presentations will be 15 minutes long with 5 minutes for discussion while BWTL presentations will be 20 minutes with 10 minutes for discussion. Abstracts should be submitted no later than Monday, October 20th. Acceptances will be announced on Oct. 27. Abstracts should be no more than 500 words long, excluding title and references. Please submit an anonymous version of the abstract in PDF or Word format. In the subject heading of the email, please indicate “OCLU abstract submission” or “BWTL abstract submission”.

- Email address of each presenter
