Sarah Simpkin: “Putting maps on the map: digitizing and sharing Ontario’s historic topographic maps”
In 2014, the OCUL Geo community initiated a 2.5 year project to digitize over 1100 historic topographic maps covering the province of Ontario. In this presentation, I’ll discuss how the project was collaboratively managed, as well as our digitization, preservation, and access plans.
