Four student mentors are awarded CIBC Mentoring Scholarships

We are pleased to announce that four of our student mentors have received a CIBC Mentoring Scholarship!  

The CIBC Mentoring Scholarships are awarded annually to student mentors displaying strong academic, leadership and coaching skills. This year, four students from the Faculty of Arts have been recognized and rewarded for their academic excellence and dedication to their peers:  

  • Emily McRae –  B.Ed. student and alumna of the Honours BA with a major in Lettres Françaises and a minor in English;
  • Haylee Weese – 4th year student – Honours BA with a Major in Second Language Teaching (French Immersion) and a Major in French as a Second Language; 
  • Miriam Hatabi – Honours BA student in Translation and alumna of the Honours BSocSc in International Studies and Modern Languages;
  • Gabrielle Fecteau  – 3rd year student – Honours BA with a Major in History and a Major in Criminology;
