1 The addition of a Major or a Minor is required for this program. (See References - Program Structures). This program cannot be combined with the Major or Minor in Art History. 

2 These courses can be taken in the Fall or Winter terms (a maximum of 2 courses per term from: ART1311, ART1321, ART1331, ART1341.)

3The introductory survey courses, ART1360 and ART1361, are required for all undergraduates in the Department of Visual Arts (Bachelor of Fine Arts, Major in Visual Arts, Major and Minor in Arts History), and are prerequisites for all compulsory 3000-level courses, so should therefore be taken in the first year to ensure graduation on time.

4 AHL1100 and AHL1900 have variable topics. They can be taken twice.

5 The number of electives course units will vary according to the Major or Minor added.
