Leonard Boyle Dissertation Prize for Medieval Studies

Amélie Marineau-Pelletier has been awarded the 2021 Leonard Boyle Prize, given annually by the Canadian Society of Medievalists for the best doctoral thesis in Canada in Medieval Studies. The dissertation, titled Écrire, traduire et conserver les lettres missives à Metz: enjeux documentaires et domination sociale des paraiges (XIVe - XVIe siècles), was co-supervised (University of Ottawa and EHESS, Paris) and was defended in the Department of History in December 2020.
