Meridian 2019 - Annual exhibition by graduating students of the Bachelor of Fine Arts

We are very pleased to invite you to MERIDIAN 2019, our annual exhibition by our graduating students of the Bachelor of Fine Arts, which will take place at the Visual Arts Pavilion, from April 19 to 26, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., followed by a Closing Vernissage,  Friday April 26, 6 p.m. to 22 p.m.

This annual exhibition throughout the whole heritage building of the Department of Visual Arts, showcases work from all graduating students in the University of Ottawa’s Bachelor of Fine Arts program (BFA).

With the theme “Meridian” which is defined as a high point. The graduating students see this exhibition has their meridian, the culmination of their artistic development over the past four years. Meridian’s geographical connotation also indicates the variety of perspectives present in the exhibition. Meridian includes work in painting, sculpture, video, photography, and installation.
