On October 4-5, we celebrate the bicentenary of Clara Schumann’s birth with two study days devoted to this 19th-century virtuoso pianist and composer. Internationally renowned musicologists and music theorists will lead 8 interactive workshops in which they will present their current work on Schumann and explore multiple facets of her exceptional life, career, and compositional oeuvre.
