The Department of Theatre wishes to extend its congratulations to the franco-ontarian playwright Claude Guilmain, shortlisted for the prestigious Governor General’s Award in Drama for his play AmericanDream.ca (Éditions L’Interligne, 2019). He studied in Ottawa until 1981 before returning to Toronto to help found the Théâtre la Tangente.
