Theatre Students Work to Raise Presence of BIPOC Artists in National Compendium

Students in "Theatre in Canada" (THE 3347, led by Part-time Professor Kristina Watt) collaborated on a project with the SpiderWebShow and the "Performance Wiki", a national compendium of Canadian Theatre Artists. The project's goal was to augment the presence of BIPOC artists across Canada in the compendium. The students selected theatre artists, crafted an article that would honor the artist's work and life, then published a digital "Wiki Page/Article", now available to the public nationally and internationally.

Check out a few the articles here: Taran Kootenyahoo, Kim Senklip-Harvey. Marjorie Chan, Sanita Fejzic, and Mumbi Tindyebwa Otu.
