Training in Translation Pedagogy Program (TTPP)

Open to our colleagues currently working or planning to work in translation/interpreting instruction

Enhances the capacity of university-level instructors to create and design translation curricula to satisfy specific translation needs in regional contexts.

Provides theoretical approaches to translation pedagogy and practice in applying theory in course and curriculum development and classroom management.

Fosters the exchange of ideas with international peers on translation pedagogy for both practical (industry) and research (academic) purposes.

Course content is delivered in lecture and seminar format; English is the medium of instruction and discussion.

Over 60 hours of training by experienced professionals and scholars.

Housing on campus: approx. Can$40 per person/night double occupancy (2019 rate)

Compulsory medical insurance: Can$2/person per day (2019 rate) for non-Canadian citizens/permanent residents
