Copyright in the content of HyperGrammar and its web pages is held by the University of Ottawa and its licensors.  All rights reserved.

Permissions

Generally, you may reproduce or otherwise use materials found on the HyperGrammar web pages only in accordance with Canadian copyright law.

You are permitted to make a copy for your personal use or for educational purposes provided copyright credit is given to the University of Ottawa by including the following statement on all reproductions “Copyright, University of Ottawa and its licensors”. Royalty fees do not apply.

You may not use the content on the HyperGrammar web pages for commercial purposes and you may not alter or translate the content and reproduce, publish, distribute or transmit such modified version of the content.

For uses other than personal use or educational use, please submit a request for the intended use to the Writing Centre by sending an email at writcent@uottawa.ca .  Permission fees, if any, are determined by intended use, number of copies and other factors.

Linking

You may link to the web pages of HyperGrammar, however, the University reserves the right to prohibit or refuse to accept any link to another website. You agree to remove any link you may have to the web pages of HyperGrammar upon the request of the University. You may link to the main page for HyperGrammar or individual web pages provided you respect the following:

  • Do not create links that may lead others to think that the University’s content is your own, or that the University is endorsing your site when such is not the case.
  • Notify the University via the Writing Centre email at writcent@uottawa.ca if you are adding a link, and indicate to which web pages. Knowing who is linking to HyperGrammar helps us evaluate the effectiveness of the site and plan for the future.
  • You cannot use the University of Ottawa name, logo or other University official marks without prior written agreement from the University.
